Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 27 June 2026

Daftar ("Daftar", "the Service", "we", "us") is a software platform operated by GO PORTAL, a sole establishment licensed in the United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or using Daftar you agree to these Terms.

1. What Daftar is

Daftar is a bookkeeping and ordering tool for small shops (such as grocery shops/baqalas, cafeterias and laundromats). It lets a shop record its sales and expenses, manage products and services, publish an ordering link, and coordinate delivery. Daftar is software only; it is not a bank, a payment institution, or a delivery company.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be authorised to act for the business you register. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or are used unlawfully.

3. Subscription & billing

Daftar is offered on a monthly subscription: AED 10 for the first month, then AED 50 per month, billed automatically until cancelled. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Prices may change with prior notice. Platform subscription payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details.

4. Customer payments (shops)

If a shop chooses to accept online payments from its customers, it connects its own third-party payment account (such as Mamo or Ziina). Those payments are made directly between the customer and the shop through that provider. Daftar does not collect, hold, or control shop or customer funds, and is not responsible for those transactions, refunds, chargebacks, or settlement. Each shop is responsible for its own merchant account, pricing, taxes, refunds, and fulfilment of orders.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: uploading unlawful content, infringing others' rights, attempting to break security, sending spam, or using Daftar to sell prohibited goods. Shops are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and quality of the products and services they list and sell.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Daftar available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, change, or discontinue features. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, GO PORTAL and Daftar are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from third-party payment providers, delivery, or a shop's dealings with its customers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three (3) months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using Daftar at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete data after a reasonable period.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Emirate in which GO PORTAL is licensed.
