Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GO PORTAL ("we"), operator of the Daftar platform, handles personal data, in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

1. Data we collect

Shop owners: name, business name, email, phone, password (stored encrypted), and the business data you enter (products, prices, suppliers, customers, transactions).
Customers ordering from a shop: name, phone, and delivery address/location you provide when placing an order.
Technical: basic usage and device information needed to run and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate Daftar: run your account, record your books, take and route orders, enable delivery, send verification and service messages, process the subscription, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Payments

Subscription payments are handled by Stripe; shop-to-customer payments are handled by the shop's chosen provider (e.g. Mamo, Ziina). We do not store full card numbers. Those providers process payment data under their own privacy policies.

4. Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the Service: with the shop you order from (so it can fulfil your order), with payment and messaging providers we use (Stripe, Mamo/Ziina, WhatsApp/email), and where required by law. Order details may be shared with the shop's delivery driver via a secure link.

5. Storage & security

Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Passwords are hashed; connections use HTTPS. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the Service or meet legal obligations.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPL you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies

Daftar uses a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
